Engraving of the Metropolitan Block in McGee's Addition to Kansas City. Noted on back of photo: A.M. Winner, of Winner Investment Company 718 Delaware, KCMo. - in a letter to W.W. Scott Feb. 29, 1891 - said that the building marked with an "X" was the Women's Prison that collapsed on the Confederate Women in August. 1863.
