Jack Morton Productions, Inc. This file contains correspondence, contracts, and contractor reports between Coleman-McLaughin and Jack Morton Productions, a Washington DC talent agency. The two companies worked together for many years to book entertainment for a variety of functions in Kansas City and other near by cities including the Future Farmers of America (FFA) conventions. Their correspondence includes Coleman-McLaughlin's views of many Kansas City based entertainers as well as how various issues that arose were handled. Some of the letters contain specific instructions as to what the entertainers should wear, what type of jokes they should avoid, and what songs should be included. The file includes lists of musicians who worked various events. This file provides a window into the day to day work of the Coleman-McLaughlin agency.
