Quantrill Reunion, September, 1920 (with framed William Clarke Quantrill portrait), at the 23rd Annual Quantrill Men Reunion. "Harry" Hoffman, Jackson County Marshal; Morgan Maddox; and, Jesse James, Jr. (son of Jesse James). In the middle row are A. F. Hayes; "Long" John Campbell; George Noland (behind the portrait of Quantrill); and James Simeon Whitsett. In the back row are an unidentifed man sitting in a chair in the background against the house; J. C. Peters; Miss Lizzie Wallace; and, Thomas Tatum. Eleven of the raiders attended. About 20 others telegraphed or wrote that they were unable to attend. The men that were present were: A. F. Hayes, 4207 East 22nd Street, Kansas City; G. M. Noland, 2526 Spruce Avenue, Kansas City; R. W. Colburn, Confederate Home, Higginsville; J. C. Peters, Smithville; J. M. Campbell, Pleasant Hill; Morgan maddox, Bartlesville, Oklahoma; Lee Stone, Independence; John T. Burns, Mount Washington; William Patterson, Smithville; Thomas Tatum, Blue Springs; and John W. Williams, Parkville. Guests were Robert Morgan, nephew of the Confederate Cavalry officer, John Morgan, and James Kimberlin, Confederate officer of Clarendon, Oklahoma. Also, Jesse James, Jr., and Harvey C. "Harry" Hoffman, and R. E. L. James, police captain.
